Antioxidants
Degradation and oxidation of plastics are remarkably depending on the heat. The combination of heat and oxygen will originate a non controlled chain reaction, with free radicals release and consequent loss of gloss and transparence, with surface cracks, chalking and surface yellowing of the manufactured article. Antioxidants are therefore highly recommended to prevent the polymer decay and loss of its mechanical properties as impact strength, tensile, percent elongation, etc.. Two formulations of antioxidants are available:
- Process: Preventing oxidation when processing the polymer
- di prodotto: Preventing oxidation during the life of the manufacture.
